Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Pagelens browser extensions and the associated cloud service (together, “the Service”). By installing an extension or creating an account, you agree to them. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

1. Your license

A paid subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use the Service's paid features for the subscription period. Each license may be active on up to 2 devices (Starter) or 3 devices (Pro, Agency). Exceeding the limit doesn't break anything — you'll be asked to sign out of an older device, which you can do yourself from the device management page.

2. Plans, billing and renewal

• Billing is handled by Paddle, our merchant of record. Prices are in USD; applicable VAT, GST and sales tax are added or included at checkout depending on your region.
• Monthly plans renew each month; yearly plans renew each year, at the rate shown at the time of purchase.
• You can cancel a renewal at any time from the billing link in your receipt. Cancellation does not refund the current period — paid features remain available until it ends.
• If a renewal payment fails, we make reasonable attempts to retry before suspending paid features, and we always give you at least 7 days of continued access after the original due date.

3. Trial

New accounts may receive a trial of paid features with no payment details required. Trial features are a courtesy: when the trial ends, features revert to the Free tier and anything you created remains accessible within Free-tier limits. Trial terms shown in the extension at the time of activation are part of these terms.

4. Acceptable use

• Use the Service only on sites you own, are authorized to monitor, or that are publicly accessible for legitimate competitive or research purposes.
• Do not use the Service to surveil individuals, to harass, or to obtain content you are not entitled to.
• Do not attempt to extract the Service's rule engine, circumvent usage limits, or resell access.
• Do not use the Service in a way that violates applicable law, including computer-misuse or data-protection law in your jurisdiction.

5. Monitoring frequency and availability

Check frequency depends on your plan (for example 2-minute checks on Pro, 60-minute on Free). Stated intervals are targets, not guarantees: target sites may rate-limit, block, or change in ways that prevent a fetch. We do not guarantee detection of every change, and we are not liable for consequences of a missed or late alert.

6. Refunds

Refund requests are handled by our merchant of record. If you're unhappy within 14 days of a purchase and haven't used it in a way we'd consider unreasonable, email us and we'll refund it. Refund abuse — repeated purchases and refund requests — may result in denial of future purchases.

7. The Service is provided “as is”

The Service is provided without warranty. We work hard to keep audit findings accurate, but findings are heuristic and may be wrong for unusual pages. You remain responsible for decisions you make based on a report. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Affiliate links

Some recommendations inside the Extensions link to third-party tools using affiliate links. Those links open only on your explicit click, are clearly marked, and are never injected into pages you visit. We may earn a commission if you sign up; you pay nothing extra for it. Purchases from third parties are governed by those third parties' terms.

9. Account termination

You can close your account at any time; we delete associated monitors, saved reports and device bindings within 30 days. We may suspend access for serious or repeated violations of these terms, giving notice where practical.

10. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. Material changes are announced in the Extensions and on this page at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
